Due to the increasing popularity and number of bowlers adopting to bowl with a “Mechanical” bowling arm we are offering an introductory to all Manning bowling members.

The training will be conducted by Manning Bowling Coach Alan Booth

  • Duration will be approximately 1 hour
  • A number of Bowling Arms will be available
  • Bring your own bowls or club bowls are also available
  • Appropriate bowls footwear is required (flat soles)

Please register your name on the sheet displayed on Club Noticeboard or by return email to give us an idea of the numbers.

 Bowlers who should consider attending:

  •  Can’t deliver your bowl close to the playing surface due to Back, Knee, Hip, Shoulder, Neck, Hand or balance-related issues
  • Bowlers who struggle to play for more than 1 hour or on consecutive days.
  • Struggle with a smooth delivery (e.g. bowls wobble out) or long ends.

Throughout Australia, more and more bowlers are using Mechanical Arms to take up or continue to enjoy the game of bowls.
